AWA Section has been the most neglected section on the GRE, by the students, thinking that AWA scores are not so important, however, it is not true. A low AWA score may result in a red flag to your admission by an university. AWA score is considered when the admission committee examine the SOP of students. So, it is recommended to give some time for the preparation of AWA section.

The first thing you want to consummate, to crack any examination, is the format of the exam. So, let us have a brief look over the format of GRE first, before going into the details.  GRE has six sections.

Section 1  –  Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) – 2 writing tasks each 30 mins.                                                                                         Task 1     –    Analyse an Issue (30 mins)                                                                                                     Task 2     –    Analyse an Argument (30 mins)
